Young, Leslie

My name is Leslie Young and I am one of the E2 teachers for 4th and 5th grade.  I live in St. Paul, have been teaching at Nokomis since 2007, and am grateful for the community of our school.  I completed my Masters of Education at Hamline University and am a certified Montessori teacher.  Learning is a partnership and I look forward to partnering with your family to support your child’s learning and growth. 

I am in my element in nature, including camping, hiking, gardening, and paddle boarding.  I enjoy learning new board games, trying new foods, and am a voracious reader.  I learn so much from and with students, and look forward to learning about the interests and strengths of your child!
