I started out teaching elementary physical education in 29 Palms, California on a Marine Base with 60 students in a class and no gymnasium.  Being there made me appreciate the education system in Minnesota, so I came back to teach here.  I have been teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools for 23 years.  Most of those years have been in middle school health and physical education.  

I realized I needed a change from middle school!  And what a fabulous change I made! I  am elated to be here for my 4th year at Nokomis Montessori teaching elementary physical education.  I consider this my happy place here!  I love how sweet the students are and how knowledgeable the teachers are here.

I want to keep challenging my students and show them love while finding their love of movement that they could do for the rest of their lives!!!!  Thank you everyone who has helped me with donating to DonorChoose so I can keep getting such fun and different physical education equipment.
