Ms. Stephanie

I have been the School Counselor at Nokomis North since 2019 and have loved creating relationships and connecting with students and their families throughout the years.

I am extremely passionate about school counseling and I absolutely love the opportunity to work and interact with every single student in our building. I have always loved working with children and giving them the tools and encouragement to become empowered young beings. As a School Counselor, my goal is to help all students better understand their own interests and skills while also providing them with different academic, career, and social emotional tools to achieve their full potential.

Throughout the year I will teach classroom counseling lessons regarding social-emotional, academic, and career skills. Additionally, I provide short term small group and individual counseling sessions, as well as collaborate with administration to ensure student success.

The individual and group counseling I provide is not therapy, though it is brief and solution focused. If you are looking for a long term therapeutic solution for your child, we have two excellent School Based Mental Health Therapists that I can connect you with.
