Our school is based on the Montessori method: Students learn at their own pace in multi-grade classrooms, independently cultivating their interests and natural abilities. Teachers help students choose their work in carefully prepared, peaceful environments; students use beautifully designed hands-on materials to practice and understand skills and concepts.

Principal Bolopue is new to Nokomis North for the 2025-26 school year. Most recently, she served as the interim principal at L'Etoile du Nord French Immersion.

Certified Montessori Staff
Certified teachers use Montessori methods and hands-on materials to help students guide their own learning.
Multi-Grade Classrooms
Organized into three levels, students learn in mixed-age groups and stay with the same teacher for 2–3 years.
Montessori Method
Students learn entirely at their own pace, independently cultivating their unique interests and natural abilities.
